Android smartphones now lead as the platform of choice for mobile smartphones in the U.S. and the rest of the world.

Google Android holds 31.2% of the market and many manufacturers continue to design smartphone models for the Android operating system. Its 7.7% market share increase displays that more and more cell phone users prefer new Android phones.
