Samsung and AT&T just announced the upcoming realease of the latest Android 2.1 smartphone: the Samsung Captivate. offering more features to the ever-growing and demanding mobile social networking movement.

The Captivate is faster than its predecessors.

In particular the Samsung Captivate sports AT&T's High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) 7.2 Mbps technology which when paired with AT&T 3G network makes this phone's browsing as fast as possible.
