Wi-Fi Connectivity, Web and Email
Not able to get a GSM / GPRS / EDGE newtork signal and need to access the Internet? The T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl 8120 smartphone can connect via Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and allows you to access the Web at hotspots. Browse in real HTML, enjoy streaming content and stay up to date with RSS feeds. Search on Google and Yahoo!, send and receive Instant Messages or access your email. 
Using BlackBerry Internet Service you can control a total of 10 personal / professional email accounts and have all of your electronic correspondence forwarded to a single Blackberry email address. You can integrate Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and other popular email clients. BlackBerry Enterprise Server can be combined with Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Domino and Novell GroupWise for corporate email and corporate data access.

How to Access the Web
From the Main screen select the Browser Icon
In the Browser press the Menu button and select Go To
Type the Web address
Press the enter key located at the bottom right of the QWERTY keypad
Press the enter key once again to request page
Scanning For Wi-Fi Networks
Press the Menu key
select Set Up Wi-Fi Icon
Read Welcome Screen
Select Next
Select one of the available options
- Scan for Networks
- Manually add a Network
- Get Security Key (used for T-Mobile wireless access point)
Follow On-screen Instructions
Recently added Wi-FI Profiles are located at the bottom of the Wi-Fi profile list. You can Prioritize Wi-Fi Profiles at the Wi-Fi Set-up Complete Screen and specify Wi-Fi Hotspot Login information.
Turning Wi-Fi On / Off
Press the Menu key
Press the Menu key once again and select Manage Connections
Check the Wi-Fi box to turn on Wi-Fi
Uncheck to turn Wi-Fi off
Blackberry Desktop Software, Synchronization and MicroSD Expandable Memory
Blackberry Desktop Software allows you to charge your Blackberry 8120 battery, sync (contacts / tasks / schedule), backup, and load applications, games and multimedia. Easy to setup, insert the included Blackberry User Tools CD and select Blackberry Desktop Software > Install Blackberry Desktop Software or Go to Web to get the latest version.
The Blackberry Pearl 8120 has a microSD expandable memory slot that is located on the left side under the USB port. MicroSD cards with a maximum capacity of 8GB are supported. With this vast amount of storage, the Blackberry 8120 lets you take and store all of your important files and provides easy access to the microSD port should you need to remove a microSD card.

To help you have an organized Blackberry Pearl 8120, the Roxio Media Manager application included in the Blackberry Pearl 8120 User Tools CD provides drag and drop file transferring and automatic video and audio conversion for best playback performance.
Roxio Media Manager lets you rip entire CDs to be transferred to your Blackberry smartphone internal or expandable memory. Create playlists, add tags and sort music by categories (Artist / Album / Genre).
Additionally, Roxio Media Manager has photo editing tools that remove redeye, crop and adjust color to pictures captured by the Blackberry Pearl 8120 smartphone's camera.
