You bought the latest multimedia smartphone; they told you it has expandable memory, meaning ou take take as many pictures as you want and store them on your cell phone memory card, "sold separately". Easier said than done. Which card does my phone uses? There are many acronyms, such as SD, RS-MMC, Translash card, ect. But which one will work with my cell phone? To help you navigate through this jungle, we have created a cell phone memory card section dedicated to explain their complicated history and compatibility. There are 5 different memory card types: TransFlash (Micro SD, MMC Mobile), Mini SD, MMC, RS-MMC, and Secure Digital cards (SD card). We suggest to always get a multiple card reader, like the one below, to allow easy transfer of pictures and files you have in your cellphone to your PC through a USB port.
