You can control all the functions of the Apple iPhone through a large 3.5 in. 320 x 480 multi-touch widescreen and your fingers. No, it’s no illusion, go ahead make a call. Simply touch the name or number and the call is initiated. Look through your playlist using your fingers. Select albums by cover and zoom in and out of the Safari browser with a tap!

The Phone:
Select the name or number with your fingertips from the favorites list, address book, or call log to make a call. You can easily add a call and have a conference session. The automatic synchronization of all your contact information from your computer or the Internet is just one of the many new features of the iPhone. Another new feature is Visual Voicemail that enables you to select your messages regardless of the order received.

The iPhone is equipped with multiple sensors: an accelerometer, a proximity sensor and a light sensor. When you change the view from landscape to portrait or vice-versa, the accelerometer is the technology behind the automatic adjustment of the content on the touch-screen. The proximity sensor turns on the screen when you pick up the phone and turns off when idle to save power. And finally, the light sensor adjusts the brightness of the screen.
The slim design, touchscreen and integrated sensors make the Apple iPhone the mobile phone that makes other cell phones head for the recycling bin. I just wonder if apple is going to invest in Apple Fingertip iWipes?
