DataWind: How it works and Compatible Bluetooth Phones
The PocketSurfer Web Viewer uses Bluetooth(TM) (a short range wireless technology) to connect to the 'modem'. If you are mobile, you can use Bluetooth technology to connect to the phone (Note: if the phone is not Bluetooth-enabled, we offer Bluetooth-Adapters for most phones). If you wish to use the PocketSurfer at home or office, we also offer a 56kbps Bluetooth modem that provides a 100' range around the home.
To check if you need a Bluetooth Adapter, or if we have Adapters compatible with your phone, please refer to the following tables.
If you do not know the Model of your phone, you can check by opening the battery, it is generally labeled on the sticker adhered to the back of the device, behind the battery.
