Example of costs and benefits: a family of 3 choosing an mLife Local Shared Family plan with a 2 year contract would spend per month as follows:

$59.98 for the first 2 lines and $19.99 for the third one: Total of $79.97/month per family.

They would get:
600 Included Anytime Local Minutes (700 in Select Markets: Chicago, Connecticut, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, South Florida and Washington DC), shared by all 3 members. These are minutes from phone calls made to anyone outside of the family cell phones.
+ Unlimited Local Mobile to Mobile Minutes (when calling from an AT&T Wireless Cell Phone to any another AT&T Wireless Cell Phone: includes all family cellphones + all AT&T Wireless customers).
+ Unlimited Local Night & Weekend Minutes.
+ Free Long Distance when calling from your home calling area.

By choosing a mLife National Plan, i.e. $59.98 for 450 Included Anytime National Minutes, the whole pool of minutes becomes national. There is no roaming and no long distance charges when calling within the AT&T Wireless Network on all included anytime minutes, all mobile to mobile minutes and night and weekend minutes. Roaming and long distance charges do apply when travelling outside the AT&T Wireless Home Calling Area.

mLife National Network large coverage area becomes your home calling area; therefore, you don't get to pay long distance or roaming charges as long as you are in it.

Weekends: Friday 9pm - Monday 5:59am

A $36 activation fee per phone is charged by AT&T Wireless along with the first billing cycle. In the event you cancel service with AT&T prior to the 1 year contractual commitment, 1800Mobiles will charge you a penalty of $150 per line in addition to AT&T Early Termination Fees (a one time charge of $175 per line). If you wish to return an activated AT&T cellular phone, you need to obtain a Return Authorization Number and return the phone to our office within 30 days from the activation date. A $25.00 re-stocking fee will apply. Phone, manual and box must be in original condition.

$26 Activation Credit on any additional line on 2-year plan. Offer ends Sept 30 2004.
