HTC Freestyle Review: this is the first phone HTC is introducing with AT&T Phone service running on the brand new Qualcomm BREW-MP platform (BREW = Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless). This new mobile platform has become a full operating system, with new functionality been added every day by developers delivering new user interfaces, and apps. The HTC Freestyle runs on a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, making not one of the top speed smartphones out there, but still pretty fast. The phone runs on the following networks: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and even WCDMA 850 / 1900.
The HTC Freestyle phone's screen is touchscreen LCD measuring 3.2" diagonal and with 320 x 480 pixels resolution. It sports over 260,000 colors.
The HTC Freestyle internal memory is 150 MB and can save up to 2000 contacts; however one can save pictures and videos with the optional Transflash MicroSD memory cards all the way to 32GB in extra memory.
The HTC FreeStyle is a bluetooth and GPS enabled cell phone.
Anyone can enjoy its powerful messaging features which go from social media apps to Yahoo!, Aol, Hotmail, AT&T, GMail email clients pre-installed.
