HTC Merge Verizon Phone Review: this phone is for use with Verizon Wireless service only, although it can work on more than just Verizon's US frequencies. This is the list of modes: CDMA 850 / 1900 and GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 WCDMA 2100 making it one of the few Verizon Wireless Global World phones. The HTC Merge cell phone is an Android 2.2 smartphone measuring 4.74" x 2.43" x 0.59" and weighing just below 7 ounces. It sports a huge 3.8" LCD color display with a 480 x 800 pixels resolution.
This a mid-range smartphone packed with super fast features, like for example its 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM 7630 processor. Its internal memory measures at 1 GB but it be expanded with transflash memory cards up to 32GB. The HTC Merge standard battery measure 1400 mAh.
Its slide-out keyboard makes it quite handy for any messaging needs, from Instant messaging to texting to emails.

Comment: I was introduced to the Htc merge from a verizon sales rep on my 1yr upgrade i didnt know this phone existed until it was put in front of me.What caught my attention was the look and feel of it not to mention the slide out qwerty keyboard.The size of the screen is nice its got some weight to it doesnt feel cheaply made at all its fast and user freindly.Being its a globle phone its a nice feature but not sure if i will ever use it for i dont travel that often.Regardless im still happy with the descision on getting the merge battery life is as expected for a smartphone unless you have a extended battery havent run across a smartphone that the battery lasted all day with heavy use. especially if your in a area that recieves poor resception the battery drains even quicker than normal. bottom line i recomend the htc merge to anyone that has a desire for a good looking smartphone being a text savy and are web surfers. If you already possess one than i hope you enjoy it as much as i do if not then get ahold of one and see for yourself
