1800Mobiles review of Motorola E815 Phone for Verizon Wireless Service: Many phone manufacturers have been claiming to have achieved and introduced a new generation of multimedia wireless phones. Only now we can safely say that promise has finally come to pass.
The Motorola E815 phone by Verizon Wireless enables, via its Vcast service, downloads of on demand music and TV clips at broadband speeds.
Not to be undone by its competitors, Motorola equipped the E815 with Bluetooth technology for wireless connection to other bluetooth headsets and accessories at up to 30 feet away; MP3 player for a true multimedia experience; a 1.3 megapixel built-in digital camera for print quality still photos.
Many worry about memory capacity for all these applications. The phone comes with 40MD of built in memory capacity but features an expansion memory slot which allows extra storage for all those pictures, video clips and MP3 downloads which you may want to store in your phone. Cards are sold separately. We love the feel of this phone. It's no toy and yet it's filled with easy to use gadgets. Its features don't stop at multimedia. The phone can make calls by voice activation for seamless hands free operations. The phonebook capacity is good enough for the busiest of mobile professional or the most popular socialite: 1000 contacts! The only defect of this phone is that is not international travel friendly being a 2 band CDMA phone: 850, 1900. However our consumers' feedbacks are raving about its domestic reception. It's a Verizon Wireless phone made by Motorola after all.

I researched all the newer phones and their features and set my sights on the E815. The only thing I can think of so far that is not the greatest(but still pretty decent) is the quality of the speakephone. My best friend has the lesser version 710 and it's the same way; better than no speakerphone but could be improved on. Other than that it's a lot of fun and I love the big clear color screen for playing games at work! That's my 2 cents."
