This phone is capable of both Nextel Direct Connect And Group Connect Services. For those who still don't know what these two services are, imagine using your Nextel phone as a walkie talkie with up to 20 people at the same time. It comes with VGA print-quality built-in camera and the 65K color display allows to see your pictures as well as callers in excellent definition. The phone has an external display to identify callers without opening flipping the phone open.
Most Nextel phones are now GPS enabled and as in the Nextel i850, they also come with pre-loaded Telenav software wich allows users to get driving directions on your phone.
Most users rave about the speakerphone quality, located at the bottom of the back of the phone.
1800mobiles Bottom Line: Quite a phone for the money. All of Nextel features and services at a convenient price. It lacks Bluetooth connectivity, but it allows a long battery life and it is data capable, which means that the phone can be used as a modem.
