T-Mobile Phone Motorola KRZR K1 Review
T-Mobile Motorola KRZR K1 Cell Phone Review:
Designed to ensure that you stay connected and entertained, the Motorola KRZR K1 cell phone is a quad-band (GSM 850 900 1800 1900) T-Mobile cell phone that is compatible worldwide where GSM network coverage and roaming agreements are in use. Music Player with Bluetooth A2DP Stereo:
Equipped with a microSD expandable memory slot, a music player that supports MP3, AAC, and AAC+ audio formats, and compatible with Bluetooth A2DP stereo headsets, the Motorola KRZR K1 provides a wireless stereo music listening experience. You can store your favorite songs, pictures and videos on a microSD memory card and enjoy them when out and about. The Motorola KRZR K1 has airplane mode making it safe to use when on a plane.
Connect to other Bluetooth devices such as a Bluetooth car kit and answer calls while driving. Some Bluetooth car kits integrate with your car's sound system enabling you to hear your music and calls through your car's stereo speakers.
2.0 Mega-pixel Camera with 8x Digital Zoom / Camcorder
The integrated 2.0 mega-pixel camera features 8x digital zoom. The camera is located on the back of the Motorola KRZR K1 and also functions as a camcorder. To access the camera view finder, press the center circular button located in the navigation key area and and select Multimedia > Camera. The viewfinder opens and you are now ready to take pictures by pressing the center button. Storing images or deleting pictures is accomplished with the Options key. Pressing the Send in Message key lets you attach the photo. Additionally, you can use the self portrait mode. By closing the phone when the viewfinder is open the external screen automatically displays the image. You can then press the smart key to capture and use the volume keys to zoom.
To use the camcorder, press the center button and navigate to the Multimedia > Video Camera menu. When selected the video viewfinder opens. To start recording, press the center button once again. To stop recording, press the Stop key. Here you can also use the Options key to store or delete the footage or selecting Send > Send in Message to share with friends and relatives.
Multimedia and Instant Messaging
Chat through AOL, MSN, ICQ and Yahoo Instant Messengers. The Motorola KRZR K1 allows you to send and receive instant messages as well as SMS text messages and picture / video messages (MMS). To create a text message press the center button and go to Messages > New Message > Message. Then enter text with the keypad. When entering text with the Motorola KRZR K1 you can set the primary entry mode to use iTap or TAP. A secondary text entry mode can be set to either of these, or it can be set to none. By pressing the (#) sign when in a text entry view, you can select your entry mode.
MicroSD Memory Card Slot and Connections
The MicroSD expandable memory slot is located on the back of the phone. Synchronizing and transferring files between the Motorola KRZR K1 is achieved via a USB connection. To begin, press the center key and navigate Settings > Connection > USB Settings > Default Connection > Memory Card. This allows you to access your memory card through the USB connection. Connect the Motorola KRZR K1 phone's mini USB port with an available USB port on your computer. On your computer, open the My Computer window and click on the Removable Disk icon. Here you can access the files located on the microSD card that is in the Motorola KRZR K1.
In order for the selected file to work with the Motorola KRZR K1, you have to be sure to place the media in its corresponding folder. MP3 and ACC files are placed in the mobile > audio folder, screen savers and wallpapers in mobile > picture, and video clips in mobile > video. Once all of the desired files have been transferred, select the Safely Remove Hardware from the system tray located at the bottom of your computer screen and select USB Mass Storage Devices then select Stop. Select USB Mass Storage device and then OK. Now press the Center key on the Motorola KRZR K1 and navigate Settings > Connection > USB Settings > Default Connection > Data Connection to return Data as the default.

You can use voice commands to tell the Motorola KRZR K1 what it needs to do. By stating "Call 5555555" / "Call John Doe" you can initiate a call. To send an email say "Send Email (name)", or to send a voice note say "Send Voice Note 5555555" / "Send Voice Note John Doe". Saying "Check Status" instructs the Motorola KRZR K1 to tell you its battery level, signal strength and if its roaming. By stating "GO TO (Voicemail / Camera / Redial / Received Calls)" you can access that feature. These advanced calling capabilities and its integrated speakerphone allow for an easy right out the box handsfree solution. You can assign ringer profiles and picture caller IDs to your phonebook entries. The Motorola KRZR K1 is myFaves capable providing unlimited any network calling to five people.
