The look and feel
The Motorola V220 is a clamshell model and comes in silver and black with a smooth surface and rounded corners. The sturdy design makes it a pleasure to hold onto while you are talking.
The displays
The external display is easy to read, though it is monochrome. The rectangular external screen shows the time, battery life, signal strength, and caller ID. And just below the screen is the camera lens. The main display is in the internal screen and is set in a mirrored frame and supports 65000 colors.

Messaging is easy with the MotorolaV220. It comes with the standard messaging facilities like SMS and MMS. You also get a one-touch access to AOL messenger. The phone has animated menus and is easy to navigate.
The keypad in the Motorola v220 is very good. It is spacious, with bright backlit and is set flush with the surface of the phone.
