By utilizing a combination of GSM technology (standard for digital cellular in Europe) and iDEN technology the iDEN 12000plus allows international business travelers to remain in constant contact.
You get to keep the saem phone and most importantly the same phone number you use in the U.S. International roaming rates are relatively affordable.
The i2000plus has a built-in microbrowser. You can send and receive e-mail, check your stocks, address book, personal call lists, and more. It carries a wireless modem which enables PDA or laptop connectivity when a landline is unavailable.
It comes with Nextel 2-Way radio which enables you to connect instantly with team members at the touch of a button using either Private Call or Group Call. Great for businesses.
