Direct Send
Direct Send is a walkie-talkie service from Nextel that allows a user to send and receive pictures and phonebook contact information to and from other walkie-talkie users in the national network. Once a picture is captured and stored in the user’s mobile phone, it can be sent to another user using the walkie-talkie button even during a call and the conversations pertaining to the image can take place right away.
Direct Send also allows exchange of contact information like name, phone number, fax number, email id and pager numbers between users who have the Nextel walkie-talkie service.
