This phone is Awesome! Very User Friendly. Camera takes excellent pictures. The ringtones sound really good and aren't muffled. Also the screen doesn't get as smudgy as most flip phones. I do wish the ringtones would go louder.

The Nokia 6102 is small and simple, but packs in some nice features. Now a Nokia fan can have a flip phone. This one is stylish in two-tone black and silver. The camera and video features are not the greatest quality, but fun extras that don't seem to add weight or size. One surprising feature was how easy it was to sync with Outlook using the Nokia PC Suite software and the phone's IR port. It even stores street addresses. A rare but handy bonus! Cons include non-standard headset connector, slightly low earpiece volume (or awkward to position on ear?), no analog backup network capability. Headset not included. Pros include speakerphone, ease of use and very compact power charger.

It took Nokia a while before understanding that we need flip phones! Not only Nokia got the message, but apparently it decided to show off with the new Nokia 6102 Cingular flip phone. Nokia could have stopped at making a VGA quality camera phone with vibrant internal and external color screens. It went further and produced a phone which records, playbacks and sends Video clips; comes with a FM radio; and with a new software that tells you if your friends are on-line and instant messaging each other!
 
We have seen many phones with 65,000 internal screens, but only a few come with a 4,000 colors external display like the Nokia 6102 does. Although the VGA built in digital quality is not close to the latest 1.3 megapixel cell phones, we can't help to like the self portrait capability of this camera phone.
1800Mobiles.com Bottom Line: Simply a must have cell phone. The look is modern and elegant. Reception is great. It's a Nokia cell phone afterall. The only feature missing seems to be Bluetooth, but a battery life capable of up to 4 hours of talk and data connection at EDGE speed force us to recommend the Nokia 6102 with Cingular service to anyone looking for a new cellular phone.
