Nokia 6111 – a stylish, new age sliding handset
‘Times, they are a changing’, wrote the legendary songwriter, singer Bob Dylan. And this mobile manufacturer from Finland seems to be living that line every moment of their day. From Nokia you can always expect something new in terms of design. There is also something stable that you can expect from them and that is the ease and user-friendly nature of their features and functions.
The Nokia 6111 is one of their latest offerings.
The display and looks
The Nokia 6111 measures 84 x 47 x 23 mm and weighs 92 gms. It comes with a 262K-color display, which is placed just above a set of action buttons and a comfortable 5-way navigation button on the phone’s front cover. A dedicated camera button as well as volume buttons can be found on the right side of the phone.
The highlighting feature of the Nokia 6111 is the latest version of its user interface. It has a whole new range of features like being able to select more than one message at one time and deleting them, just like you do with your email.
Camera
The Nokia 6111 features a 6X digital zoom Megapixel camera with flash. And it gives decent result while clicking in daylight as well as in the night. While clicking photographs, the phone’s display acts as a viewfinder and automatically switches to landscape mode when the camera is activated. You can also record video at 176 x 144 pixels.
Messaging
It has become like a default option now in the all the latest models of Nokia and you and I have taken them for granted. Well, I am taking about the SMS, EMS, and MMS facility and the Nokia 6111 is no different. Creating MMS with both stills and videos from the camera application and sending it across to anyone is an easy function. It has a storage capacity of 23 MB for video, audio and image files.
