The second in the series from The L’Amour Collection for Nokia, apart
from its USP of the classy and dignified designs, the speciality of this
phone is its rotating user interface, something which helps you realize
that your phone is open and needs to be closed!
Like other phones in this collection, the phone is made of leather like
material and has an etched metal with fabric trim and is available in 2
colors – coffee brown and warm amber.
With a qualitative screen, the phone has a TFT screen with up to 262K
colors and 240 x 320 pixels. It has a large screen with 10 lines, a
status bar and tips for soft keys display. It also comes with 4D
navigation. The battery used in this phone is 840 mAh (BL-4B) Li-Ion with up
to
270 hours of standby time and 4 hours of talk time.
Based on the series 40 platform, the model has a memory bank of 10MB. You
can store
up to 1000 names in the phonebook. Enabled with SmartPhones by Nokia,
its MMS is a very good replacement for EMS. The messages can be
as big as 300 KB and a voice message of up to 3.6 minutes can be sent
without much difficulty. The formats that can be sent through
MMS are 3GP, MP3, .ppt, .doc, .xls, and .pdf. The phone is also
integrated with Email clients like APOP/POP3/SMTP/IMAP4 protocols.
The integrated camera with 1.3 mega pixels, allows you to take pictures
in various resolutions, including 1280x1024, 640x480, 320x240, 160x120
pixels or in a portrait mode (80x96 pixels). The phone is also enabled
with a good audio system and a dictaphone that can record up to 3
minutes of audio clips. With a good audio system, the integrated FM radio
is of great help when you want some music to pep you up.
The phone is enabled with Java and has only one game, the Phantom Spider
Evolution installed on it. However, any Java application of 125KB can be
downloaded. You can download them from the net as this phone is enabled
with WAP 2.0 and xHTML. The device can also be used as a modem as it
supports GPRS, Bluetooth and EDGE technology.
