Nokia E60 Review
Nokia's latest line-up of smartphones, launching first quarter of 2006, includes the Nokia E60. This WCDMA, Triband, Bluetooth phone supports BlackBerry Connect, Seven Always-On Mail, GoodLink, Seven Mobile Mail, Nokia Business Center and Visto Mobile. If that's not enough for the average business mobile user, try the 6 parties conference calling capability or VOIP capabilities over WiFi. This is how it works: the Nokia e60 allows for Internet calls by detecting the presence of WLAN, enabling the use of the local network.
The Nokia E60 can also be used as a modem over local and global networks.
The Nokia E60 looks like a regular candy-bar cellular phone, but it has plenty of business related functions under the hood:
Loudspeaker for easy conference calls
Supports the most common features of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (Microsoft Office 97, 2000, XP and 2003).
Compatible with Zip Manager and Adobe Reader
Personal Information Management compatibility (PIM)
Reduced Size MultiMediaCard with hot-swapping capability ensures sufficient memory for office functions
Contacts and calendar with week view, making it easier to make appointment entries
Notepad for taking notes (notes can be sent as SMS, MMS, or email)
Rich messaging options: SMS, MMS with distribution lists, email
Nokia's answer to the TREO 650, Motorola Q, Sony Ericsson P900 series is just around the corner. It is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2006. If you wish to receive an email from 1800mobiles when this phone becomes available for sale, Click Here
