The Sprint Sanyo Katana Eclipse is expected to be released Fall 2008. A unique feature of the Sanyo Katana Eclipse is that it has illumination effects that help you identify callers. Select from 40 different effects and assign them to callers, alerts and messages. Customize light effects with seven LED colors and choose either blink, echo, pulse or multi-color sequences.

Loaded for the music fanatic, the Sprint Sanyo Katana Eclipse features external music controls providing instant access. You can utilize Sprint Music Store (download MP3 / AAC / AAC+ digital audio files) and Sprint Music Manager for organizing your music library.

The Sanyo Katana Eclipse has a microSD memory expansion slot that supports microSD / microSDHC cards that have a maximum capacity of 8GB. Support for Bluetooth stereo headsets enable you to enjoy your music wirelessly in stereo.

Equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera / camcorder, you can capture your life and share your memories via Sprint Picture / Video Mail. Print with PictBridge and record video for up to two hours in length. Access to your Windows Live, AOL, and Yahoo email keeps you in the loop. Built-in GPS support let you take advantage of Sprint Navigation with audible and visual turn by turn driving directions.
