Review by F.M. : If you think cable TV is tiling free, think again ! I switched to satellite tv precisely because by digital cable provider, in NYC out of all places, was starting to show garbled images. Last year i started noticing these annoying garbled images on my cable programming and called tech support at Time Warner. Despite numerous visits they were not able to fix it. This phenomena, also known as tiling, can be due to a variety of reasons from cabling to central office software and more often than not, are left without resolution by Time Warner or other cable providers. I therefore signed up to Dish and go figure ... no more tiling and garbled images for me with very few exceptions ! The satellite dish is small and unobtrusive. And to top it off, i pay less every month ...
