Kyocera DuraPlus Sprint Phone - 3G:

The Kyocera DuraPlus Sprint Phone connects you at 3G and is Military Standard 810G certified. This means that the Kyocera DuraPlus was built to be tough and handle extremes. The Sprint Kyocera DuraPlus will still function in blowing rain, salt fog, temperature extremes, immersion in 1 meter of water (max 30 minutes) and can withstand shock, vibration and dust. The Kyocera DuraPlus also has an LED Flashlight (located on the bottom) with a dedicated key. Additionally, the Kyocera DuraPlus has a non-slip casing made from Dura-Grip material, a 2-inch QVGA screen and a front speakerphone. You can connect the separately sold remote speaker microphone and charging dock accessories to the Kyocera DuraPlus.


Kyocera DuraPlus Sprint Phone lets you communicate through Sprint Direct Connect. Sprint Direct Connect has three times the push to talk (PTT) coverage than Nextel Direct connect. Sprint Direct Connect services include One-Touch Direct Connect, Single Number Option, Availability Notification, Group Connect, and TeamDC. One-Touch Direct Connect enables you to set the Direct Connect button to either a frequently called number or last Direct Number number called. The Single Number Option lets you have one phone number for both Direct Connect calls and wireless calls. With Availability Notification you can receive alerts when the status of other Direct Connect users is available. Group Connect lets you simultaneously communicate to 20 other Direct Connect users. TeamDC provides Nationwide group calling to a maximum of 200 Direct Connect users. The Kyocera DuraPlus supports 2.5 mm Push-To-Talk (PTT) headsets as well as Bluetooth Push-To-Talk (PTT) headsets.

With the Kyocera DuraPlus you can pinpoint your location and have assistance to reach your destination with its Autonomous GPS. Sprint Navigation, Sprint Family Locator and Sprint Workforce Locator are there to help you find your relatives and coworkers.

Have access to your email and the web. The Sprint Kyocera DuraPlus supports POP3 and IMAP email accounts (AOL / Yahoo! / Hotmail) with Nextmail and has a WAP 2.0 mobile web browser. You can also send text and media messages with text threaded messaging. Predictive T9Word text entry, Emoticons, Smileys, Symbols, ABC alphabet mode and 123 numeric mode are there to help you respond.

Navigate through the user interface with the Kyocera DuraPlus phone's navigation key. You can initiate a call with it Advanced Speech Recognition technology and voice commands. The Contacts app provides ringer profiles and picture caller IDs. Bluteooth 2.0 + EDR wireless connectivity add to the options available for operating the Kyocera DuraPlus handsfree.

The Kyocera DuraPlus Sprint Phone has basic tool set to help you keep appointments. Find preloaded Calendar with Voice Reminders, Alarm, World Clock, Stopwatch, Calculator, Voice Memos and Countdown Timer. The My Content Manager stores all of your purchased files on the Nationwide Sprint Network so that you can always download them.
