Sprint PCS Picture Mail is a great way to share digital full-color pictures clicked with a Sprint Power Vision phone with near and dear ones. So Sprint PCS Picture mails are used when one wants to send pictures or to personalize and store pictures in one’s Sprint PCS Cell Phone. It is possible to even record video clips with sound using a Sprint PCS Vision-enabled phone.
Also, the pictures and videos can be edited and modified at the sprint web site. Picturemail lets a Sprint user do more in terms of sharing images, organize albums and order prints with photo centers like Ritz Camera, Sam’s clubs and Wolf camera.
How to take pictures?

To create a password, the user is prompted to enter a four-digit alphanumeric password. Once the system creates this password, the user can share and upload pictures on the Sprint website.
How to share Sprint PCS Picture Mail?
Pictures and videos taken from the phone can be shared instantly with family and friends from the mobile handset itself. To share pictures from the phone:
- From the image gallery in the menu of the phone, the image to be sent should be chosen first
- Now the image can be sent to up to 10 recipients to either their 10-digit mobile number or the email id stored against their names in the contacts list of the phone. If the picture is being sent to a person who recently sent a picture, then that recipient can be chosen from the Recent list of the mobile phone.
- If a voice clip needs to be sent along with the image, it can be recorded as a voice memo in the message that is to be sent. The voice clip cannot be longer than 10 seconds in duration.
- A text message can also be added to the message using the key pad to enter text or searching from RECENT MSG to use a message which was recently sent to someone.
- Choosing NEXT will help the user preview the message with all the input details
- Now is the last time changes can be made to the image chosen, the text message, the recipients list and the voice clip
- When each of the above components comes up on the display screen, there will options on the screen and the soft key to edit or delete the item
- Once all changes are made, selecting OK will get back to the main preview screen and finally the Picture Mail can be sent by selecting the SEND option.
How to record videos?
Recording a video clip is very similar to capturing an image on the phone. All phones might come with specific instructions on recording a video clip but the general method to capture a video clip on a mobile phone is:
- The PICTURES or VIDEO option from the main menu of the mobile phone should be chosen
- The video can be activated by selecting the CAMCORDER option in the camera
- Now the phone’s screen turns into a viewfinder for shooting the video clip
- Target the subject to be captured on video press RECORD to start recording the clip
- Some phones have hot keys to operate the camera on the body of the phone itself which helps the user to avoid the hassles of going into the phone menu

How to store IMAGES and VIDEOS in the phone?
Depending on the memory allocation of the mobile phone, the pictures can be stored on either an external memory device like a miniSD card or it can be stored in the MY ALBUMS folder in the phone itself.

- PICTURE INFO gives details of the image: time, size and date
- The THUMBNAIL/EXPAND option helps the image to toggle between full-screen
Storing VIDEOS in MY ALBUM in the phone:
Once a video clip is captured and stored on the phone, it can also be accessed, like the images, through the MY ALBUMS folder.
