T-Mobile Launches its first 4G Phone. New York, NY Sept 09 2010.
T-Mobile announced today it will release the first 4G phone in its line-up at the end of Sept. This revolutionary phone is the successor to the first Google G1 phone and it will be named G2. It runs on the new and improved HSPA+ (High-Speed Packet Access) network will allow 4G speeds at downloads up to three times faster than 3G.
The T-Mobile G2 will also feature a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flashand an amazing full QWERT slide-out keyboard. The touch screen measures at 3.7-inch screen and it is Bluetooth enabled. If you prefer corded headsets, the G2 carries a 3.5mm headset jack.
T-Mobile equips the G2 with 8GB of internal memory but one can expand it through the use of MicroSD cards to up to 32GB.
It is an Android phone and as such, the T-Mobile G2 will have customizable home screens. One of these is dedicated to providing one-click access to Google applications such as Gmail, Google Maps with Places and Navigation and all apps available in the Android Market.
