The mobile market has turned tablet. With devices running on Android, iOS, and Windows 8, you have similar hardware specs with the differences in operating system and price tag. So what tablets are considered budget friendly with high end features? The ideal starting point would be at the $200 mark. Below is a list of tablets that have hi-tech features at affordable prices. Some of the tablets listed my have not been released but should be available in the not too distant future.

Nexus 7The Google Nexus 7 starts at $199 for the 16GB & Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n version. It uses the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, and features the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 7-inch 1280 x 800 back-lit IPS HD touchscreen with 216 ppi, 1.2MP front facing camera, weighs 12 ounces, and measures 7.81 in (H) x 4.72 in (W) x 0.41 in (D) / (198.5 x 120 x 10.45 mm). It has NFC connectivity allowing for Android Beam sharing, GPS for location based services, an Accelerometer and Gyroscope for apps and games. Google Chrome web HTML browsing, Google Play (store with more than 700,000 apps and games), Google Now, free Google Cloud storage, Maps, Google+, Gmail, Gesture Typing (slide fingertip to enter words with word prediction), and YouTube are all there. Powered by a 4325 mAH battery you get 8 hours of usage time. The Nexus 7 tablet requires a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connection. Asus MeMO Pad HD 7Asus MeMO Pad HD 7 - $149 runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and has a 7-inch wide angle 1280 x 800 IPS 10 point multi-touch screen, runs on a 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor with 1GB of RAM, has 16GB internal memory, support for microSDHC cards up to 32GB, WLAN802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0, 1.2MP Front Facing Camera, 5MP Rear Facing Camera, SonicMaster audio technology, dual stereo speakers, GPS and is available in Gray, White, Pink, Blue, and Green colors. It provides 10 hours of usage time and features Google Mobile services, SuperNote Lite for multimedia note taking (scribble, photo, video, and voice), BuddyBuzz (unified social networking app), Kindle, Zinio, MyLibrary, App Backup, File Manager, and an additional 16GB of 1 year ASUS Webstorage. It's an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean 7-inch 5 point multi-touch screen tablet, has a nVidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, supports microSDHC cards with a maximum capacity of 32GB. The Hisense Sero 7 Pro connects via Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth version 3.0 + EDR, mini-HDMI, and NFC. Additionally, you have a 3.5mm stereo audio jack and microUSB connectivity. Measures 7.87 in (H) 4.95 in (W) 0.43 in (D) and weighs 12.7 ounces. Image highlights include a 5 megapixel rear facing camera and a 2.0 megapixel front facing camera. It is preloaded with all your favorite and new Google Mobile services. Powered by a 4000 mAh battery, it provides 7 hours of 1080p video playback and 10 hours of web browsing.
