Verizon’s V Cast is a next-gen content delivery network, which has deployed
third generation (3G) wireless technology in your phones and is powered by
their Wide Area 1xEvDo network. V Cast technology leverages the potential of
broadband with an average download speed being 400-700 Kbps, which can scale
upto 2 Mbps! Some good news for those cyber addicts out there!
What it essentially means is that you can now have on-demand video and
high-speed data transfers, all in your small and sleek phones. The on-demand
clips offered currently are under four categories:
• News-NBC, CNN to go, NBC market watch
• Entertainment: V Cast Showcase, Just for laughs
• Sports: Fox Sports, ESPN
• Weather: AccuWeather.com Breaking news and Forecasts

phone offers them amazing camera features. It has better imaging
capabilities with mega pixel features and high-speed video cameras. Infact,
it has the capability to stream upto 5 minutes of video clips and provides
expandable memory storage.

mobile phone based system which offers advanced gaming features including

Although it comes to you at a $15-per-month flat fee that covers web
browsing, not all content is free. The music videos cost $4 each, while the
NASCAR videos are charged $1 a clip, and NBA highlights costs around 50
cents per video. This includes subscription fee for games and other
applications. Moreover, you also need to have Verizon'z 3G enabled phones.
To use all features, you have to subscribe to their 'Get it now' service.
The downside is you cannot have other third party applications or software,
thus you're locked to using Verizon's own software.
