How to make the mobile guess the word a user wants to type?
Bring the phone to T9 mode by pressing the * key
Type the word one by on the key pad pressing the numeric key buttons only once for each word. For e.g. to type G-O-O-D, press the numeric keys 4-6-6-3, each one only once
Do not worry about the words that appear on the display while in the middle of the word
Once the word has been finished typing, see if the word that appears in the screen is the one intended.

If the intended word is not among the options offered by the phone in the T9 mode, toggle to the ‘abc’ mode of the phone, type the word and select ‘*’ again to get back to T9 mode. Now the new word will be saved to the T9 dictionary.
