The Verizon Wireless SMT5800 is a Windows Mobile 6.0 smartphone that features a slide out QWERTY keyboard and has a separate numeric keypad for calling. The HTC SMT5800 measures 4.1" x 2.0" x 0.7" and weighs 4.2 oz. Expected to be released through Verizon Wireless later in January 2008, the Verizon Wireless SMT5800 enables you to access your important electronic Microsoft files (MS Word / Excel / Powerpoint). In addition support for Microsoft Exchange and compatibility with Microsoft Vista, you can synchronize via plug and play. You do not need ActiveSync or another software application to stay organized.
The 2.4 inch screen displays 65k+ colors and provides a clear view when reading or playing media with the Windows Media Player. You can view and listen to WMV / MP4 / AVI / 3GP / 3G / H.263 / MPEG-4 video and audio files. Since the Verizon Wireless SMT5800 is a Bluetooth enabled device with support for Bluetooth stereo, HTC SMT5800 gives you a wide selection of handsfree solutions to choose from.
